The Belarusian Ministry of Defense has signed an agreement with Russia’s Imperial Tula Arms Plant for the supply of unspecified “modern ammunition.”
The deal was concluded during the MILEX-2025 international defense exhibition currently underway in Minsk.
The ministry did not disclose details about the type or volume of the ammunition ordered.
However, the Imperial Tula Arms Plant is primarily known for manufacturing anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) systems, including the Kornet and Konkurs-M, as well as small arms and related components.
The plant has been under international sanctions since 2014.
On February 25, 2022, the day after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the European Union expanded sanctions against the facility, citing its role in producing weapons used in the war.
Later, the restrictions were expanded — it was noted that the plant produces the Konkurs-M ATGM, “which is used in the aggressive war against Ukraine.”
The Belarusian military probably signed an agreement specifically for the supply of anti-tank guided missiles.
The Imperial Tula Arms Plant manufactures small arms and various anti-tank missile systems.
It is currently operating around the clock to supply the Russian military with weapons for its operations in Ukraine.
The company specializes in producing various guided missile modifications for the Kornet and Konkurs-M systems.
It also manufactures parts for other military products and offers a range of assault and sniper rifles in both traditional and modernized designs.
Previously, as part of military-technical cooperation with Russia, Belarus received 9M120 Ataka guided missiles for its armed forces.
