Barnaul-T reconnaissance module seized in Kharkiv region

In the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian forces seized the Russian Barnaul-T reconnaissance module for air defense units.

The Militarnyi reported about it.

It is reported that servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine took part in the operation to seize the module.

“Here, on the front line, “Grim” (lieutenant of the National Guard of Ukraine – ed.) has discovered extremely useful skills – to to clean up and seize enemy equipment,” the National Guard said.

In one of the raids, a reconnaissance and control module on the 9S932-1 crawler chassis was seized from the Barnaul-T tactical command and control system.

Barnaul-T carries out reconnaissance of air targets and reception of information from the connected detection systems.

The Barnaul-T baseline air defence command and control subsystem is designed to fit tactical units’ air defence control posts with advanced automation, communication, and data exchange equipment in order to effectively control air defence troops and weapons, coordinate their activities, and increase their mobility and survivability under any combat conditions.
