In the south, the Ukrainian artillerymen destroyed a Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting machine.

This was reported by the 28th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces.

The artillerymen of the Knights of the Winter Campaign Brigade worked against the enemy’s armored vehicles.

The crawler armored vehicle of the Russian invasion forces the onboard ammunition exploded after being hit.

Gunners of the Mechanized Brigade fired accurate shots at the masked BMP-3.

The infantry fighting vehicle of the Russians was located on the territory of the agrarian enterprise, positioned among the agricultural machinery.

The BMP-3 was disguised yet was spotted by a Ukrainian reconnaissance UAV that was conducting the artillery fire adjustment.

“Our “Gods of War” professionally turned tens of millions of rubles in the form of BMP-3 with ammunition into a beautiful fire, to observe which one delights,” – said the message of the 28th Brigade.

After the artillery strike, the ammunition detonation and fire followed.

Ammunition exploded and its fragments were flying in different directions.

The BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle is armed with a 2А70 100 mm gun, a 2А72 30 mm automatic gun, and a 7.62 mm PKTM machine gun. The vehicle is designed to transport the personnel to the frontline. It ensures the increased mobility, armament, and security of soldiers on the battlefield in the conditions of nuclear weapons use and combined actions with tanks in combat.

The 28th Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign is a military detachment of mechanized troops of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the organizational structure, it is a part of the Operational Command South and is stationed in the Odesa Region.
