Anduril Founder: U.S. Should Arm Ukraine

The founder of the American defense company Anduril Industries, Palmer Luckey, stated that the United States must’ve provided Ukraine with the necessary weapons to win.

He wrote this on his X account.

He also claimed that his company’s weapons had helped destroy Russian military equipment worth “hundreds of millions of dollars.”

“The United States should give them the tools they need to win. It is the fastest path to peace, one way or another,” wrote Palmer Luckey.

He also mentioned that his company’s equipment and personnel had been in Ukraine just two weeks after Russia’s full-scale invasion.

The American company Anduril Industries specializes in the development and production of advanced defense technologies, autonomous combat systems, as well as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence solutions.

The company is known, in particular, as the manufacturer of the Altius-600M and Altius-700M kamikaze UAVs, as well as the Roadrunner-M jet-powered interceptor drones.

On Tuesday, the White House announced the suspension of deliveries of certain types of weapons to Ukraine, including several types of air defense missiles and guided rocket munitions.

They explained that “the decision was made to put America’s interests first” following a review of U.S. military aid to other countries.

A U.S. official stated that the move was related to concerns about the depletion of stockpiles in American military arsenals.

However, later, U.S. Department of State spokesperson Tammy Bruce told reporters during a briefing that the suspension applied only to certain categories of weapons systems, and other arms deliveries to Ukraine continued.

Currently, the U.S. remains a key supplier of missiles for air defense systems, as well as long-range artillery systems. In particular, Ukraine’s ability to intercept ballistic missiles directly depends on the timely provision of Patriot interceptor missiles by the United States.
