Operators of an FPV interceptor from the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade hit a Russian Mi-28NM attack helicopter.
The brigade’s press service reported the incident and released footage of the Prybultsi Anti-Aircraft Missile Battalion in action.
The brigade stated that the aircraft had been destroyed and its crew eliminated.
The footage shows the drone approaching the helicopter and moving into an interception trajectory. The video cuts off just before impact.
Bendik OSINT researchers geolocated the site of the attack on a Russian Mi-28NM helicopter near the village of Yasnozorenskoye in Russia’s Belgorod region, close to the Ukrainian border.
The end of the video also shows a post from a Russian Telegram channel reporting the crash of a military helicopter in Russia’s Voronezh region and the deaths of three crew members.
Militarnyi previously reported that on July 15, operators of the 427th Rarog Unmanned Systems Brigade attacked a Russian Mi-28N attack helicopter with an FPV drone in Russia’s Belgorod region.
