These cars are used to perform combat missions in the Kherson Region.
The servicemen say that more vehicles like that would allow them to move further.
The Ukrainian servicemen received these British vehicles at the beginning of June.
HUSKY armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are manufactured by Navistar Defense, a subsidiary of Navistar International, which owns the International car brand.
Introduced in 2006 and developed in parallel with the civilian International MXT version, the MXT-MV is significantly modified for military use compared to its civilian counterpart.
The armored vehicle can be transported by military transport aviation.
The TSV is a variant of the MXT-MVA modified to meet the requirements of the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence under the Tactical Support Vehicle (TSV) program for the British Army.
It’s available in three modifications – SUV, ambulance, and mobile command post.
The British Ministry of Defence signed contracts for 351 vehicles (262 originally ordered in 2009, another 89 ordered in 2010).
At the end of May, the Ukrainian servicemen showed their training with Wolfhound armored vehicles provided by the United Kingdom.
