Massive explosions took place in the occupied city of Horlivka in the Donetsk Region.
It caused a fire to break out on the territory of the Horlivka Machine Building Plant.
Eyewitnesses reported last night’s incident on the web.
The Strategic Communications Department at the Office of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian invaders had set up a repair base for their equipment at the enterprise.
As a result of the explosions and subsequent fire, a large stock of fuel and lubricants was destroyed at the invaders’ base.
Footage from released videos confirms the fire at the Horlivka plant. The enterprise has been under the control of the Russian invaders since 2014.
Previously, on July 23, the enterprise also experienced another explosion.
Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko reported that it happened in the area of the plant with a lot of Russian military equipment. According to journalist Denys Kazanskyi, it was a depot with explosives that got neutralized in Horlivka.
The explosion caused fire, black smoke rose at the scene.
One can hear ammunition detonation in the videos featuring the incident.
On the eve of July 23, the Ukrainian servicemen destroyed a Russian base in the occupied Kadiivka (former Stakhanov) in the Luhansk Region.
The missiles hit the building of the former college №9, which is located at 9 Gagarina Street. The building was used as a barrack by soldiers of the Russian National Guard (“Rosgvardia”).
