Zelensky: Ukrainian Forces Liberate 300 km² as Result of Counterattacks in Zaporizhzhia Region

Ukrainian forces have liberated 300 km² in the southern direction as part of a counteroffensive.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the French publication L’Agence France-Presse.

The president noted that Ukrainian defenders are overcoming certain challenges, but the Russian army is suffering much more serious setbacks on the battlefield.

According to him, the enemy is unable to achieve its strategic goals, while Ukrainian soldiers are gradually regaining control over their native land.

These successes are also due to the deterioration of Russian communications. In particular, this refers to the shutdown of Starlink terminals, which the enemy actively used to control and operate drones.

As a reminder, SpaceX has restricted the use of Starlink satellite internet in Ukraine for unauthorized users.

Currently, for full operation, the owner must add the terminal to the whitelist and officially register it. At the same time, Russia officially prohibits the use and registration of this equipment on its territory.
