The Vinnytsia community transferred a batch of aid consisting of 2,000 FPV drones to Ukrainian soldiers.
The Interregional Humanitarian Coordination Center announced this on September 12.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces will use these drones to engage the invaders’ equipment and manpower using various combat units.
It’s worth noting that Vinnytsia regularly sends drones and other equipment to the Ukrainian military on the front line.
This applies to drones used for combat missions, reconnaissance, and artillery fire adjustment. The Defense Forces also receive vehicles from time to time.
Recently, the Interregional Humanitarian Coordination Center transferred 50 FPV drones to the soldiers of the International Legion under the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the 66th Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstyslav.
Previously, they also received Mavic 3T quadcopters and FPV drones, so this is the third time the Vinnytsia community has helped these military units.
“The soldiers are currently performing tasks in the eastern part of Ukraine, so they really need this support,” the humanitarian center reported.
When receiving the drones, the soldiers explained that today, the advantage on the battlefield belongs to those who have more drones and are more skilled at flying them.
They note that it is better to lose a few drones than to risk their own lives and health.
Last week, the 3rd Assault Brigade received 200 FPV drones with improved technical characteristics.
The Interregional Humanitarian Coordination Center noted that this was the eighth transfer to the 3rd Assault Brigade, which is supported on a regular basis.
