City fights are ongoing in Sievierodonetsk, the situation is challenging but controlled. Due to the destruction of three bridges across the Siverskyi Donets river, the logistics became more complicated.

The city has not lost its connection with the territory controlled by Ukraine, the routes of connecting with Sievierodonetsk remain intact.

Oleksandr Striuk, Head of Sievierodonetsk Military Administration, announced this during the nationwide telemarathon.

“The Russians are trying to charge the city from several directions. The Ukrainian military controls the Industrial Zone, and occasionally the measures are taken to push the enemy out of the city center,” he said.

The humanitarian situation in the city is critical. At the time the fighting in Sievierodonetsk itself began, approximately 10 thousand civilians remained there. It is unclear how many people there are now.

The morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that the enemy was shelling the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine with mortars, artillery, and rocket launchers.

The invaders were firing at civilian infrastructure in the areas of Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Toshkivka, Ustunivka, Borivske, and Metolkine. Using aviation, the enemy committed an airstrike near Bila Hora.

At the same time, the General Staff noted that the Ukrainian military is successfully reflecting the attempts to assault, and the warfare continues.

Previously, Hanna Malyar, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine mentioned that the situation at the frontline is extremely difficult and Ukraine needs assistance in heavy armament. She stated that Ukraine received only 10% of the required amount of weapons.

In addition, on June 15, the third meeting of the Ministers of Defense of the countries which support Ukraine should be conducted. Oleksiy Reznikov, Defense Minister of Ukraine, hopes that “Ramstein-3” will solve the problem of heavy weapons supply.
