Soldiers of the Defense Forces of Ukraine once again neutralized the Russian “Eleron-3” reconnaissance drone.

The photo featuring the UAV was posted on Twitter by Arslon Xudosi.

It is noted that the Russian UAV was neutralized with the EDM4S anti-drone rifle.

“Eleron-3” is a short-range aerial reconnaissance and surveillance system with unmanned aerial vehicles, produced by the Russian ENIKS.

The system is designed for round-the-clock reconnaissance using optical and electronic tools.

Tasks of the drone:

• real-time search of intelligence objects by the operator;
• detection and recognition of intelligence objects;
• determination of the exact location of intelligence objects with the display of the coordinates of the object on the ground control panel using GLONASS;
• aerial photography of the area.

The system includes an unmanned aerial vehicle, a variable modular payload, a ground control point, and launch devices.

The Ukrainian military has been using EDM4S anti-drone rifles since October 2021.

“EDM4S” is designed to counter UAVs. The fully portable system intercepts control of an enemy UAV.

All its modules are integrated into a single mechanism that is triggered when the anti-drone rifle is activated.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian military received the SKY CTRL anti-drone system, which can detect and intercept enemy UAVs.
