The soldiers of the 77th Airmobile Brigade, together with allied units, captured 11 Russian invaders.

The prisoners included a citizen of Belarus who fought on the side of the Russian Federation.

A video of the combat mission was posted on the Ukrainian unit’s page.

The video outlines that during the offensive, the enemy suffered losses of 12 armored vehicles and 50 infantrymen, and 11 surrendered.

FPV drones and other weapons hit the Russian military equipment moving in the column after being detected.

“It turned out that among these ‘Ocean’s 11’ was a Belarus citizen sent by fraud to fertilize Ukrainian land. How exactly? Watch our new video!” the 77th Airmobile Brigade noted.

The footage shows, in particular, a captured prisoner of the Russian military, who said that he was from the Mogilev region of Belarus.

“The cops took me in and started pressuring me to sign a contract for the war. I refused the first, second, and third time. And then I got drunk again, and they took me again, pressured me, and I signed it drunk. And then, when I sobered up, it was too late. I was already in Voronezh. They took me there drunk,” the captive confessed.

In the video, the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces brigade noted that the prisoners would be treated in compliance with all legal documents, in accordance with the Geneva Convention.

It is expected that they will be submitted for exchange in the future to return Ukrainian prisoners of war held in Russia and the temporarily occupied territory to Ukraine.

Joint engagement

Militarnyi recently reported that units of the 77th Airmobile Brigade and the Achilles unit of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade fought off an attack by Russians on the eastern bank of the Oskil River.

The Russian invaders tried to conduct a massive assault on the positions of Ukrainian defenders using heavy equipment in the Borivske sector. However, aerial reconnaissance detected the enemy moving in a large column in a timely manner, so the units managed to prepare for defense and launch FPV drones.
