Russian soldiers in armored vehicles fell into a mine ambush near the village of Krynky in the Kherson region.
Ukrainian officer, known by the call sign “Magyar,” shared footage capturing the destruction of the Russian invaders’ armored vehicles.
Mines, dropped from drones during the night along one of the invaders’ routes, played a crucial role in the ambush.
As a result, two BMD-4M armored vehicles used by Russian paratroopers became ensnared in the mine trap.
BMD armored vehicles are designed for paratroopers and are capable of parachuting from an aircraft.
A Russian modified BTR-82AT armored personnel carrier, equipped with additional protective shields, also fell victim to the mine ambush.
Then, to prevent the enemy from rescuing the stranded armored vehicles, the Ukrainian military initiated drone attacks to finish off the immobilized Russian assets.
Using both F7 disposable drones and F10 reusable drones, the Ukrainian forces effectively destroyed the trapped BMD-4M and BTR-82AT.
The 503rd Separate Marine Battalion also managed to destroy a Russian BMP-3.
The Ukrainian General Staff noted that in the Kherson sector, the Defense Forces continue to expand their bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
“Despite significant losses, the enemy continues to try to knock our units from their positions. Over the past day, the enemy made one unsuccessful assault on the positions,” said the General Staff.
As previously reported, in the Kherson region, Territorial Defense Forces finished off a modern Russian T-90M Proryv tank of invaders.
