Ukrainian FPV drone operators have destroyed a third RB-301B Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system in the span of a week, targeting another high-value jamming station used by Russian forces.

The Spears of Odin unit released footage showing the strike.

Judging by the vehicle’s appearance, the target was either an R-934BMV or R-378BMV jamming station mounted on an MT-LBu tracked chassis, providing the system with high mobility and off-road capability.

The station had been deployed in a forested area but was detected and hit by a Ukrainian FPV drone.

The second drone, which flew out to control and, if necessary, to achieve an important target, recorded a fire that engulfed Russian equipment, and for reliability, hit the electronic warfare antennas on the mast.

This marks the third Borisoglebsk-2 system destroyed by Ukrainian drone operators in April.

On April 16, Ukrainian multi-rotor bomber drones destroyed two similar Russian jamming stations in the south of Ukraine.

Ukrainian forces increasingly use such drones to strike Russian equipment, personnel, and field fortifications along the front lines.

At least two munitions were dropped on the vehicles, setting the first system ablaze and likely causing significant damage to the second.

Borisoglebsk-2

The RB-301B Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system is designed to detect and jam various communications and systems that operate using radio frequencies.

Its primary targets include tactical command and control channels, such as satellite communications and radio navigation systems.

The system comprises several types of jamming equipment mounted on MT-LBu self-propelled chassis, coordinated by the R-330KMV command post.

It includes the R-378BMV, R-330BMV, R-934BMV, and R-325UMV stations.

A four-person crew operates the command post, which coordinates the actions of the entire system.
