Ukrainian drones have started striking logistics vehicles near an occupied checkpoint in the Donetsk region.

The drones are flying more than 150 km deep behind the front lines. Several Russian trucks were destroyed on the Russian-Ukrainian border along the Rostov–Mariupol highway.

Video footage of the aftermath of the strikes was posted on the Russian Two Majors Telegram channel.

The destroyed vehicles blocked the road, preventing the movement of both military equipment and the illegal movement of other vehicles.

The invaders have long been concerned about the Ukrainian forces’ ability to escalate strikes at medium range and “cut off” logistics routes where troop movements were previously relatively safe.

Middle Strike-type strike drones are being used for this purpose.

In March, unmanned aerial vehicle units launched nearly 350 strikes at an operational depth of 30 to 120 kilometers from the front line.
