An analysis of satellite images of the Sea Oil Terminal oil depot in Feodosia has confirmed significant damage to the tanks after a series of attacks by Ukrainian attack drones.

The images were published by Radio Liberty.

According to the analysis, the latest strikes by Ukrainian drones have completely destroyed 11 tanks, while another part was severely damaged during previous attacks.

At the same time, 7 tanks remain undamaged out of a total of 43 tanks on the territory of the oil depot.

Drone attacks on the tank farm took place on October 6 and 13, causing significant damage to the terminal. During the attack on October 13, a drone strike on the tanks caused a large-scale fire that was visible at a considerable distance from the terminal.

The tank farm was also severely damaged in the October 6 attack, which took several days to contain.

The terminal’s storage capacity is 250,000 cubic meters. There are only two such facilities on the peninsula – the other is located in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

In addition to these two attacks, the defense forces also attacked the oil depot in 2024. Thus, on October 7, 2024, units of the missile forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the defense forces, hit several oil tanks, which caused a fire on the territory of the enterprise.

This terminal is the largest in Crimea in terms of transshipment of oil products, which were used, in particular, to meet the needs of the Russian occupation army.

In addition, Special Operations Forces drones struck oil depots in Hvardiyske and the Rosrezerves’ Hvardiyska oil depot in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

According to the agency, the successful actions of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces resulted in the destruction of an oil depot in Hvardiyske and the Gvardiyska oil depot of the Russian Reserve in Karyerne. According to the online community CyberBoroshno, FP-2 attack drones were used in the attack.

The oil depot in Hvardiyske belongs to Kedr LLC, which owns the largest ATAN gas station chain on the temporarily occupied peninsula. The damage to such a facility could lead to increased fuel supply problems in Crimea.
