Ukrainian Developers Unveil Realistic Combat Drone Simulator UFDS on Steam

On December 10, 2025, Ukrainian developers SIMTECH SOLUTIONS released the Ukrainian Fight Drone Simulator (UFDS) – a highly realistic FPV combat-drone simulator now available on Steam.

According to the developers’ press release, UFDS is a professional training platform built on real combat mission data. Until now, it was used primarily by the military, but it is now accessible to civilian users as well.

For more than two years, Ukrainian FPV drone operators have been sharpening their skills using the UFDS.

More than 5,000 pilots have trained in controlled simulations and subsequently carried out over 100,000 precise combat strikes, which has helped minimize risks to real aircraft.

The game includes two main modes. The academy is designed for training and skill development, including racing-style exercises. Combat Zone lets players apply those skills in dynamic missions — from defending positions to controlling drone swarms and carrying out strikes under pressure. The developers also announced that a multiplayer mode will be added soon.

The key features of the UFDS include advanced simulation of flight physics, aerodynamics, and battery performance. The simulator also offers a realistic day–night cycle, electronic warfare effects, and a wide range of combat-tested drones: Angel Arrow 12”, Angel Arrow 15”, Mimic 3T, FPV Kamikaze Phantom 7–10”, and LuckyStrike. It also supports various weapon types and modular mounting options for mission customization.

The UFDS was created by Ukrainian engineers and drone operators serving on the front lines. They integrated real scenarios and combat conditions into the simulator, making it not only a training tool but also a practical one.
