Ukrainian Defense Forces strike drones attacked an oil depot at the port of Temryuk in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.
The official Telegram channel of the Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters reported the attack on the facility.
The strike took place overnight from December 24 to December 25, 2025. According to official reports, the fire covered an area of approximately 2,000 square meters.
Data from NASA’s FIRMS system recorded the ignition point at around 1:00 a.m.
Satellite monitoring indicates that the fire spread across 95% of the oil depot’s territory.
It is worth noting that Temryuk is a commercial port on the Sea of Azov that handles a wide range of cargoes, primarily petroleum products, liquefied gas, chemical liquids, and grain and other bulk materials.
Despite the port’s multipurpose nature, the attack targeted the oil storage infrastructure and fuel tanks.
On December 5, 2025, Ukrainian drones had already struck a terminal used for the transshipment of oil and gas products.
According to the Kyiv Independent, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) executed that operation, and the resulting fire burned for up to three days.
At the time, significant damage to production facilities was also reported, including storage tanks and rail tank cars used for handling oil and liquefied gas.
Overall, according to the Russian source Regionterminal, the terminal’s tanks at the port have a total storage capacity of 63,000 cubic meters, with up to 18 tanks.
Militarnyi previously reported that on the night of December 22, Ukrainian drones attacked the Taman maritime terminal in the village of Volna, Temryuk District, Krasnodar Krai.
The area of the initial fire at the terminal site was approximately 100 square meters.
