Ukrainian Armed Forces knock out Russians from Zherebyanky village

Ukrainian military strikes at Russian armored vehicles in the village of Zherebyanky, Zaporizhzhia region.

Combat work in this direction was showcased by the soldiers of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade.

In particular, soldiers of an anti-armor company destroyed a Russian tank.

An accurate shot was fired from the Ukrainian Stugna-P ATGM from a distance of several kilometers.

The tank tried to maneuver and prepared for the shelling of Ukrainian positions.

“However, the Stugna-P missile put an end to its attempts — the tank broke out like a dry cloth,” the military said.

After the hit, ammunition detonated in the tanks in a few seconds. It is reported that the entire crew was eliminated.

The village of Zherebyanky is located near the village of Piatykhatky, which was recently liberated by Ukrainian forces.

Now the Ukrainian military continues to advance in the Tauride direction.

Recently, the Armed Forces liberated following eight settlements in the South of Ukraine:

• Novodarivka;
• Levadne;
• Storozheve;
• Makarivka;
• Blahodatne;
• Lobkove;
• Neskuchne; 
• Piatykhatky.

The press center of the Defense Forces said that in this direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine completed more than 10,000 fire missions.

During a briefing with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius at the German air base, NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg also emphasized that Ukrainian forces managed to advance.
