The Ukrainian military was provided with modern Skykit autonomous intelligence centers.
This was reported by the French L’Express media, which cited its own sources.
According to the media, the director of Palantir Alex Karp said that his company is responsible for part of the target designation in Ukraine.
In June 2022, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Director of Palantir Technologies Alex Karp in Kyiv.
They discussed further cooperation in the fields of defense and security, as well as digitalization.
Palantir Technologies, a leading data analytics company, officially unveiled Skykit in January, 2023. Presumably, the Ukrainian military received this system before its official presentation.
Palantir Skykit is a fully autonomous reconnaissance center, giving soldiers an advantage over opponents.
Skykit contains two built-in monitors, built-in rechargeable power supplies, and a special laptop. It also has a Quadcopter drone and a small Trailcam Nano camera.
The system is designed to enable soldiers to efficiently process intelligence, decision making, and perform operations from remote locations using software from Palantir.
It allows users to set tasks and analyze data from anywhere on the battlefield.
Skykit has its own secure satellite communications. Due to Skykits’ Meta-Constellation software, the Ukrainian soldier can connect to one of 40 commercial satellites, analyze data collected by various artificial intelligence modules, and thus to “see” the enemy.
Depending on intergovernmental agreements, Skykit can also access military satellites such as the Pentagon’s satellites.
