The Ukrainian company SkyFall has developed and submitted for testing a new medical evacuation drone called StarGate.
This was reported by the Associated Press.
The drone was developed over the past year specifically to transport wounded soldiers from hard-to-reach areas of the front lines.
The idea to create a medical evacuation UAV arose at the request of a commander with the call sign Flint from the 475th Assault Regiment, Code 9.2.

The hexacopter is equipped with a medical capsule featuring a fixed stretcher and is capable of lifting a payload of up to 150 kg, allowing it to transport a soldier in full gear.
The drone’s maximum speed reaches 105 km/h, and its one-way range is 15 km.
The stated cost of a single StarGate system is approximately $50,000, depending on the configuration.
To ensure resistance to electronic warfare, the drone uses dual communication channels via Starlink and the L-Link system, as well as AI-based navigation.
In the event of a complete loss of control and GPS signal, the system is capable of autonomously plotting a route and returning to a safe zone.
During testing, the drone also demonstrated a system for defending against attacking FPV drones using a net launcher.
The system has now been transferred to one of the combat units to evaluate its effectiveness and reliability in combat conditions.
As a reminder, in July it was reported that Ukraine is considering the development of aerial motorcycles and aerobuggies for the military to rapidly deploy troops to their positions.
