Ukrainian company TENETA has introduced an innovative new device to combat enemy drones – the single-use MITLA net launcher.

According to the company’s official website, this system is specially designed to intercept FPV drones and reconnaissance drones, enhancing defense capabilities against aerial threats.

The MITLA net launcher weighs only 365 grams. Its dimensions are 200 mm in height and 40 mm in diameter, making it easy to carry in a pouch, backpack, or even a pocket of gear.

To operate it, all you need to do is take it out, aim, and fire – the net instantly deploys and disables the enemy drone by entangling its propellers.

According to the developers, the net launcher can be used both in hot weather and freezing conditions. The device performs reliably regardless of the environment, which is especially important in combat zones.

MITLA has an effective firing range of up to 25 meters, and the net measures 3.5 by 3.5 meters – large enough to block a drone’s flight path during intense combat or while defending positions.

It should be noted that the device has a strong recoil when fired, as it is equipped with a 7.62 caliber pyrotechnic cartridge, so it is recommended to hold it with both hands.

Militarnyi previously reported that a net pistol against FPV drones had been tested during basic general military training.
