Ukraine Develops Drone Interceptor Reaching 11 Km Altitude

Wild Hornets, the Ukrainian manufacturers of combat drones, have developed a drone interceptor capable of reaching an impressive altitude of 11 kilometers.

The creators shared this exciting news themselves on social media.

They also released a video showcasing their new drone’s high-altitude flight in action.

As @Osinttechnical discovered from the released footage, the flight took place in the skies over the Kherson region.

These high-altitude capabilities are expected to enhance Ukraine’s ability to counter large Russian drones that fly at great heights for reconnaissance or strike missions.

Their high-altitude drone interceptors’ exact specifications and appearance have not been disclosed for obvious reasons.

According to the developers, the drone has not yet undergone codification by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The fight against Russian reconnaissance and strike drones is critically important for Ukraine. That’s why having new accessible tools – in this case, drone interceptors – provides a greater chance to protect Ukrainian soldiers and cities from attacks by Russian invaders.
