The United Kingdom has opened a tender for the procurement of equipment and services under the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU).

The International Fund for Ukraine is a financing mechanism that uses contributions from international partners to purchase priority military equipment for Ukraine.
The fund is administered by the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) on behalf of an executive panel comprising the UK, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Lithuania. These partners, along with Iceland, have contributed £896 million (approximately $1.14 billion) to the fund to date.
Working closely with Ukraine, the fund’s commission determines the types and requirements for the weapons to be purchased.
The UK is now launching a tender to accept applications from manufacturers of products across the globe. It includes air defense equipment and equipment for maritime operations.
In particular, the foundation is looking to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense:

Last year, it became known that repair, refurbishment, and supply of spares for the Tunguska air defense system were ordered for Ukraine through this fund.
The foundation also purchased Portuguese Tekever AR3 UAVs for Ukraine. Such UAVs have a flight duration of 8 to 16 hours.
