In the Finnish cities of Voikkaa and Korialla, located about 80 kilometers from the border with Russia, large warehouses of weapons and explosives were discovered.

This was reported by several Finnish media outlets, including Kouvolan Sanomat.

According to Kouvolan Sanomat, law enforcement officers found more than a hundred firearms, more than 100,000 rounds of ammunition, fragmentation grenades, anti-tank ammunition, and a 75 mm cannon in Korialla.

Part of the arsenal was hidden in the basement of a residential building, garden boxes, a van, a bus, and even in the glove compartment of a car.

It is not yet clear how many weapons were found in Voikkaa. It is only known that the police and the military have been working around this facility for more than a week.

According to Kouvolan Sanomat, the owners of both premises where the weapons were stored knew each other.

One of them is known to be a former police officer.

However, the Finnish police have not commented on the possible connection between the suspects and have not yet provided any conclusions on the situation.
