Third Corps Captured Seven Invaders During a Clearing Operation in the Forests of Kharkiv Region

In the Kharkiv region, the scouts of the Third Army Corps conducted a precise clearing of a forest area, having come across a Russian subversive group’s hideout.

The operation began with a flurry of fire and a series of grenades, after which the assault group entered the basement of a destroyed house, the Third Army Corps’ Telegram channel reported.

Inside, they found five invaders at once, who quickly realized the hopelessness and laid down their arms, the corps’ press service said.

The OnlyWars soldiers of the 3rd separate reconnaissance battalion continued combing the forest and found two more Russian soldiers who were trying to hide in the thicket.

Those who remained to resist were eliminated in their own holes – the Russian group ceased to exist.

The terrain was difficult: rubble, mine danger, deep forest and the risk of repeated ambushes – a classic area for a subversive reconnaissance group.

Nevertheless, the Third Army Corps scouts worked without losses, clearing the area and taking control of key points.

The seven prisoners will replenish the Ukrainian exchange fund, bringing the return of the Ukrainian military from Russian captivity closer.

Meanwhile, the 1st Corps of the Azov National Guard has also replenished the exchange fund with the invaders.
