Zaluzhnyi discussed the pace and volume of international technical assistance deliveries to Ukraine in his conversation with US General Milley.

Tonight, General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi spoke over the phone with General Mark Milley, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed his American counterpart about the current situation at the front.

They also discussed the pace and volume of supplies of international technical assistance deliveries to Ukraine to resist Russian aggression.

“I emphasized that the Ukrainian side is clearly aware of the responsibility for each weapon and will not allow it to fall into the hands of terrorists,” Zaluzhnyi stressed.

According to Valery Zaluzhnyi, General Milley noted the effectiveness of our use of missile and artillery systems, particularly the American-made M142 HIMARS.

In the conversation, the Commander-in-Chief noted that the Russian invasion forces continue to focus their main efforts in the north of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions and are trying to push Ukrainian forces out of their occupied positions.

Active hostilities are being conducted in the directions of Izium-Slovyansk, Sviatohirsk-Slovyansk, Lysychansk-Soledar, Lysychansk-Siversk, and Popasna-Soledar.

According to Zaluzhnyi, Ukrainian soldiers manage to repel massive enemy attacks. In the Kherson area, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to liberate our territories.

M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) uses a 6-wheel chassis of an M1140 FMTV tactical truck. The system can be used as a rocket launcher with ammunition of different ranges and as a tactical missile system.

As previously reported, the Administration of President Joe Biden will provide Ukraine with four more HIMARS systems and high-precision ammunition. In general, the United States provided Ukraine with 12 highly mobile systems, taking into account four additional ones.
