Traces near the destroyed crossing may indicate that the vehicle was forced to retreat when it reached the broken pontoon bridge.

It is possible that the photo illustrates an episode previously reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, an attempt by the Russian occupiers’ to cross the Irpin River near the village of Moshchun, Bucha district.

The Ukrainian Ground Forces claim that the photo shows the area of Gostomel.
