Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have captured a high-ranking staff officer of the 58th russian army.

During combat action with the russian invaders, soldiers of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces captured the head of the information and psychological counteraction group of the military unit #47084 of the russian army.

The Ukrainian army provided information about the prisoner – Alexander Olegovich Koshel, born on April 5, 1982, personal number Ф-905994, military rank – lieutenant colonel.

Permanent location of unit #47084 – Vladikavkaz, Republic of North Ossetia – Alania.

During a personal inspection, soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade were surprised to find that russian lieutenant colonel Koshel was wearing underwear and socks marked “Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

“Eloquent proof that the staff of the russian Army recognizes that even the underwear and socks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are better than those of the praised” Second Army of the World “- said in the Ukrainian army.

Captive Koshel was in direct contact with the 58th Army of the Russian Federation commander, Mikhail Zusk, to whom he personally did daily reports. Therefore, the enemy made desperate attempts to free the lieutenant colonel.

Immediately after the capture of Koshel, the Russians threw significant forces in an attempt to free him.

“Including the involvement of russian air force that fired at our attack aircraft.”

The brigade reported that no one was injured in the enemy fire, and the prisoner was taken to a safe place. At the moment, captured russian lieutenant colonel Koshel provides Ukrainian counterintelligence with information.

It is worth noting that the commander of the 58th russian Army Zusko comes from Ukraine – from the small village of Vetly, Kamin-Kashira district of the Volyn region. Now he is fighting against Ukraine.
