The UK hand over the military aid for territorial defense forces

The United Kingdom hand over military cargo and equipment for the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov announced.

On February 8 and 9, a cargo with new military-technical assistance from the UK arrived in Ukraine.

The UK hand over military cargo and equipment: bulletproof vests, helmets and more.

“Thanks to our partners for their unwavering political, diplomatic support and military assistance,” Reznikov wrote.

The United Kingdom has handed over a number of other important defensive aids to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including NLAW anti-tank systems.

In January, Defense Minister Ben Wallace announced during a parliamentary hearing that London would supply Ukraine with light anti-tank defensive weapons.

In addition to this, against the background of the accumulation of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine, Britain sent more than 100 Special Forces operators to Ukraine.

Troops from the SAS, the SBS, the Special Reconnaissance Regiment and the Special Forces Support Group are working in Ukraine military advisers.

British special forces have been able to deploy such a large number to Ukraine as they are no longer operating in Afghanistan. Although the SAS and SBS are still in Syria and Iraq, the numbers of troops there are believed to be relatively small.

Military instructors from the UK train the Ukrainian military as part of the Orbital training operation, which began after the Russian aggression.
