The operators of one of the Special Operations Forces units discovered and destroyed the Buk-M1 air defense system’s launcher with six missiles.
The SOF press service reported on this.
It is reported that the transporter loader launcher and firing unit of the Buk-M1 system were discovered while working in the Sumy direction.
The firing unit was damaged and the transporter loader launcher was destroyed.
The operators inflicted fire damage using fixed-wing kamikaze drones while a Shark drone monitored the target.
Rocket fuel detonated as a result of the hit.
The Russians tried to put out the fire, but they failed.
On April 30, it was reported that the strike drone operators of the Special Operations Forces unit discovered and hit two Buk-M1 air defense system launchers in the Sumy direction.
As a result of the hit, the equipment was apparently damaged and immobilized, but not destroyed. Therefore, another 9A310M1 self-propelled launcher was sent to evacuate it.
The vehicle that came to tow the damaged unit was also hit by an SOF unit’s attack drone.
In both cases, an unknown kamikaze drone with a V-shaped tail fin was used to destroy elements of the enemy Buk-M1 system.
According to the described appearance, it could be a Polish Warmate or Ukrainian RAM II attack drone.
