Territorial defence battalions will be taught to use Stugna-P and Corsar ATGMs

In the Kyiv region, the training of the first group of instructors – operators of Stugna-P and Corsar anti-tank missile systems was completed.

Trained instructors will transmit theoretical knowledge and practical skills to personnel in the battalions of the Territorial Defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A practical test of the skills and abilities of instructors-operators of the Stugna-P and Korsar anti-tank missile systems took place at one of the training grounds of the Kyiv region.

After returning to the Territorial Defense battalions, instructors will begin to share the acquired knowledge and skills with their personnel.

It is planned to train about a hundred such instructors. The training course lasts about 10 days.

It includes both theoretical and practical components, during which servicemen improve their skills.

Currently, servicemen of one of the brigades of the Territorial Defense of Kyiv have been involved in the courses.

Dmytro Haidai, a senior soldier of one of the detachments of Territorial Defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said that today he had practically worked out the issue of deploying-folding the Stugna-P and Corsair anti-tank missile systems, as well as launching them.

“During such trainings you gain practical knowledge, which is very important. Before that, we studied the technical specifications of these anti-tank missile systems at the theoretical trainings,” Dmytro Haidai said.

Recall that recently in Ukraine they allowed volunteer battalions of the Territorial Defense to use, in addition to hunting weapons, small arms.

In Kyiv, local territorial defense forces are also being trained in the use of Degtyarev DP-27 machine guns.
