In February, the Russians used 18% fewer FPV drones, probably as a result of strikes on UAV storage facilities.
This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
According to him, in February, the Rocket Forces carried out 228 strikes, and the Air Force carried out 104. In addition, 293,800 combat missions were carried out using UAVs.
During January and February, military authorities reported at least 15 strikes on facilities related to the use of Russian drones.
In particular, they reported the destruction of UAV storage facilities, training sites, drone control centers, workshops and maintenance centers, as well as training centers for operators and FPV drone manufacturers. Of these, seven reports were made in January and eight in February 2026.
January 10 — a UAV warehouse in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region and a UAV control center in the Pokrovsk area were hit. January 17 — a UAV storage and training facility in the Donetsk area was hit. January 19 — a UAV warehouse in Novokrasnyanka in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region was hit.
January 22 — A UAV storage facility in the Novohryhorivka area in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region was hit. January 28 — A UAV warehouse and UAV control center in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region were hit. January 29 — a number of UAV control centers in the Zaporizhzhia direction were hit. January 31 — UAV control points in the Rivnopilya area in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region and in the Sluchovsk area of Bryansk region, Russian Federation, were struck.
February 8 — Special Operations Forces struck a UAV control point in the Novoekonomichne area in the Donetsk region. February 10 — struck a training center for UAV operators and FPV drone production in the village of Komysh-Zoria, Zaporizhzhia region, and a drone control center from the Rubicon center in the Vysokyi area, Zaporizhzhia region.
February 16 — struck a UAV control center in the Zatyishche area in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region. February 18 — struck an enemy UAV workshop and UAV control centers. February 28, 2026 — the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck enemy UAV control centers in the area of the village of Prylisya in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation and near Rodynske in the Donetsk region.
In addition, it is known that at the end of February, UAV operators of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade managed to destroy a large Russian warehouse, where, according to estimates, about 10,000 drones and vehicles were stored.
It was located in the border area of the Kursk region, from where the Russian military is trying to advance on the Sumy region.
“The enemy believed that nothing threatened him on his territory, but he forgot that such a concentration of valuable resources is tantamount to their destruction,” the paratroopers said.
