Satellite images confirm the destruction of the Elektropribor plant, one of Russia’s leading manufacturers of military electronics, in a Ukrainian drone strike.

The images were published by the OSINT projects Dnipro Osint and Exilenova+.

The strike occurred on the morning of August 2.

While video footage shows the destruction of one of the plant’s workshops by a Liuty drone, satellite imagery confirms at least four separate impacts.

One of the targeted buildings is a workshop built in 2020, which sustained three separate hits.

According to the OSINT researchers, the roof of this workshop is built using LPR1000 panels, made from 0.50 mm thick steel, which can be easily penetrated by drones. It is likely that internal equipment was also damaged.

Elektropribor manufactures cryptographic protection systems, secure communications equipment, and devices that enhance the reliability of data transmission. It also produces systems for encrypting voice, document, and facsimile communications.

In addition, the company makes switching equipment, signal converters for digital transmission, as well as modems and multiplexers for tone-frequency and digital communication channels.

On the same day, Ukrainian strike drones also hit the Radiozavod plant, which manufactures advanced communications systems for the Russian Armed Forces.

These include control systems, Ranzhir battery command center, radio stations, the Polyana-D4M1 automated battle management system, and command-and-control vehicles based on armored platforms.

The company also produces the PU-12M6 and PU-12M7 mobile air defense command posts, and the PORY-P1M and PORY-P2VM systems for automated radar data processing.

This was not the first successful Ukrainian drone strike against these facilities. On July 31, Radiozavod was already hit by Ukrainian drones.
Days earlier, Ukrainian UAVs targeted another Russian defense electronics manufacturer, the Signal plant in Stavropol.
