In temporarily occupied Crimea, strikes from the Ukrainian Defense Forces damaged the Saky Thermal Power Plant.

Analysts from the Dnipro OSINT project confirmed this after examining satellite images, which show significant damage to part of the plant’s main building.

The exact time of the strike and the weapons used have not been disclosed.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces regularly target key facilities in occupied Crimea with drones and missiles to weaken Russia’s military and economic capabilities.

The Saky Thermal Power Plant is a thermal power station in the city of Saky that produces both heat and electricity. It uses natural gas as its primary fuel. The modernized section was put into operation between 2018 and 2020.

It is worth noting that on the night of November 11, Ukrainian drones struck an oil terminal in Feodosia. This terminal is an important hub for supplying fuel and lubricants (FML) by sea to the Crimean Peninsula and temporarily occupied territories in southern Ukraine.
