Russian invaders have begun to be attacked by Helsing’s HX-2 strike drones in a number of areas.

Footage of the drone’s wreckage was published on the Russian UAV Developer Telegram channel.

It is reported that the HX-2 is being used for strikes in the Russian rear.

“They are hitting repair crews and road network installers in the relative rear,” the invaders said.

In 2025, it became known that Helsing was to manufacture 6,000 HX-2 strike drones for Ukraine.

The HX-2 drone with an X-shaped wing and tail was unveiled at the end of 2024.

It is designed to destroy armored vehicles, artillery, and other military targets, including engineering structures.

The drone weighs 12 kg, is equipped with four electric motors in the tail section, and has a maximum speed of 220 kilometers per hour.

According to Helsing, this kamikaze drone has a flight range of up to 100 km. The declared total weight of the HX-2 indicates that it is equipped with a warhead weighing several kilograms.

The developers note that thanks to the use of artificial intelligence technologies, the drone has high autonomy in conditions of electronic warfare and is capable of effectively hitting targets.

Several HX-2 drones can also be combined into a ‘swarm’ to perform combat missions.

In January, it was reported that German HX-2 drones from Helsing in Ukraine demonstrated low accuracy in combat conditions due to technical problems.
