Russian Т-14 Armata tanks are planned to be used in the war against Ukraine.
Propagandist Vladimir Soloviev published photos and videos of crews undergoing combat coordination.
According to him, “Armata goes West.”
The exact number of tanks that are prepared to be deployed to the combat zone is unknown. The video captures no more than two tanks in the frame at the same time.
Another video shared in the Telegram channel of the Russian propaganda network featured four tanks that can be spotted moving in a convoy.
In 2021, Russian media reported that the experimental batch of such tanks was transferred to the Russian Armed Forces. According to previous announcements, the batch could include up to 20 tanks.
Т-14 (Object 148) is a promising Russian main battle tank using the Armata Universal Combat Platform. The tank has an unmanned turret.
The tank was equipped with an automatic transmission, active suspension, and the А-85-3А engine (1350-1800 hp).
The protection of the tank, in addition to the composite armor of the hull, is provided by a Malachit dual-explosive reactive armor, along with an Afghanit active protection system.
The tank is armed with a 125mm smoothbore 2А82-1S gun capable of firing Reflex-M ATGMs.
