In temporarily occupied Crimea, a Russian soldier opened fire on his fellow servicemen, killing three civilians in the attack.
Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Russian-installed Governor of Sevastopol, reported the incident.
In total, four people were killed in the shooting, while four others were injured.
First, the Russian invader opened fire on his fellow soldiers, killing one of them and wounding another.
He then shot and killed civilians in the village of Khmelnytske, located southeast of Sevastopol.
According to the latest information, the Russian serviceman killed three residents of the village – two men, aged 71 and 59, and a 64-year-old woman. Three other civilians were injured.
The gunman has been detained. His motive has not yet been disclosed.
