A Ukrainian FP-2 strike drone manufactured by Fire Point struck a Russian frigate in the port of Novorossiysk.

The operation on April 6 was carried out by the 1st Unmanned Systems Center in conjunction with the Security Service of Ukraine.

Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert ‘Madyar’ Brovdi said that the frigate Admiral Grigorovich was hit.

“The extent of the damage is being assessed by intelligence,” Robert ‘Madyar’ Brovdi reported.

According to analysts from the CyberBoroshno group, the frigate struck was of Project 11356R, specifically the Admiral Makarov or the Admiral Essen.

“The air defense missiles were launched directly from the frigate as it approached the target, which did not prevent the target from being hit,” added Madyar.
