Russia’s Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CBST) has unveiled a line of specialized interceptor drones.
This was reported by TheDeadDistrict, a user on X.
The demonstration took place at the Archipelago 2025 forum in Skolkovo, where various models with different aerodynamic and design solutions were shown, which were similar to those used in Ukrainian interceptor drones.
At the exhibition, the CBST presented the Skvorets Air Defense Interceptor Drone, which performs vertical takeoff and has an integrated target acquisition system based on artificial intelligence. The declared speed is 270 km/h.
A faster Kinzhal interceptor drone was also demonstrated, with a maximum speed of 300 km/h, according to the developers. It is reported that the drone was capable of engaging targets independently and could be integrated into an autonomous UAV detection system.
Another sample was the ‘BOLT’ interceptor drone, which, according to official information, is part of the UAV countermeasures complex.
The complex includes a radar-based target detection system and interceptor drones. Targeting can come from other radars of anti-aircraft systems or manually from the operator.
In addition to airborne interceptors, the CBST also demonstrated the Krestnik-M maritime moving target interceptor drone.
As stated, it can be launched from land, sea and air platforms. Aerodynamically, the drone has a V-shaped plumage and a straight wing that opens after being dropped or launched.
In addition, a multidisciplinary quadcopter-type air defense drone ‘Ovod-PVO’ was shown, designed to intercept and subsequently destroy enemy drones. It can be equipped with both a kinetic warhead and an integrated warhead initiation system.
Earlier, Militarnyi reported that a portable Yolka interceptor drone had been spotted in service with the Federal Security Service, which was responsible for the security of the Russian president.
The Yolka drone is designed to kinetically intercept small drones at low altitude by ramming them. These can be reconnaissance or bombing drones.
