The Russian Aerospace Forces received the sixth batch of new Su-34 bombers in 2025.
The aircraft were manufactured and delivered by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).
According to published photos and videos, the handover of the Su-34s took place at the Chkalov Novosibirsk Aviation Plant, with two aircraft delivered.
The aircraft underwent a full set of required ground and flight factory tests before being sent to their base airfield.
These Russian fighter-bombers are designed to engage ground, surface, and aerial targets at a considerable distance from their base airfield. The aircraft can also conduct aerial reconnaissance.
The previous batch of new Su-34s, consisting also of two aircraft, was delivered to the Russian Aerospace Forces a month ago.
The delivery of the Su-34s was done under the current state defense order of the aggressor country.
The arrival of new aircraft allows the Russians to replace planes of this type that they are losing in the war against Ukraine.
