At 07:39 am, nine Kinzhal missiles were reported to have been launched, aimed at Kyiv and, possibly, Kharkiv.
Powerful explosions were subsequently heard in the capital, and missile debris fell in different parts of the city. There is also a hit on the civilian infrastructure, and a gas pipe is damaged.
Power supply has been partially disrupted in some areas of Kyiv and the region. More than 250,000 customers are without power, the data is being updated. In some areas of the city, there is no pressure in the water supply network.
At 08:28 am, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal ALBM was launched again and that the missile was flying toward Kyiv. At 08:30 am, more explosions blasted in the capital.
Mayor Vitaliy Klytschko reported that rescuers released 17 people in a building in the Solomianskyi district. 117 residents were evacuated from the building. There is a fire and heavy smoke in the building. There are victims, 27 of whom were hospitalized. He also informed that a warehouse building is on fire in the Podil district. The fire is on an area of 2000 square meters.
It was subsequently reported that one victim from a house in the Solomianskyi district, an elderly woman, died in an ambulance.
The invaders also attacked Kharkiv in the morning. The invaders launched a strike at the central part of the city. According to preliminary data, they attacked the Ukrainian city with missiles of the S-300 and Kinzhal systems. Significant destruction has been recorded. A total of 3 fires occurred in a total area of 50 square meters. A warehouse, a shop, personal belongings in the basement of one of the residential buildings, vehicles, and gas flowing from a damaged gas pipe were on fire.
As of now, 41 injured persons and one deceased person have been reported. Information on the dead and injured is being confirmed.
