The Russian command made an unsuccessful attempt to launch an attack in the vicinity of the village of Storozheve.

Analysts from DeepState have reported that the soldiers of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade have engaged in combat with Russian forces.

The invaders broke through to the village in four combat vehicles, but were destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the battle, the Ukrainian military successfully destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle and a Russian T-80BV tank. Several Russian soldiers were captured as well.

It is reported that the battle happened on June 10, but due to the so-called “informational silence” it became known only now.

Part of the Russian military, which occupied the village of Storozheve, was also neutralized and taken prisoner.

The Command of the Ukrainian Naval Forces reported that about fifty invaders were killed in the settlement, four were captured.

“Today, the national flag flies over Storozheve again, and it will be in every settlement until we liberate all Ukrainian land,” the military said.

Currently, there is a so-called “informational silence” in Ukraine, and because of this, visual confirmations of the liberation of settlements are made public a few days after the incidents.

Previously, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that they will not publicly announce the start of the counteroffensive.

Russian sources also had to confirm the liberation of settlements, although they try to downplay Ukraine’s achievements.

Some Russian sources also reported that fighting continues in the “gray zone” or in disputed territories, or that Ukrainian troops are operating in territories that Russian troops did not fully occupy before the start of the counteroffensive in southern Ukraine.
