Soldiers of the 15th Separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade Black Forest struck the 5N63S command post of the Russian S-300 air defense system using a strike drone.

A video of the strike was published by the press service of the 15th Brigade.

Judging by the released footage, after a Ukrainian UAV struck the front of the Russian vehicle, it caught fire and was likely destroyed by the flames. An objective assessment of the strike was conducted by a Shark reconnaissance drone.

The 5N63S command post not only serves as the coordination center for the entire air defense system but is also equipped with a 30N6 radar.

The 30N6 multifunctional radar for target illumination and missile guidance (TIM) receives and processes data on air targets and selects targets for priority engagement.

In addition, the radar performs the acquisition, tracking, and guidance of anti-aircraft missiles, providing the target illumination required for the operation of semi-active homing heads. The radar provides simultaneous guidance for up to 12 missiles against six targets of various types.

Therefore, the destruction of the 5N63S command post, which is part of the S-300 air defense system, effectively completely paralyzes its operation.
