Quantum Systems Develops Seavex and Subvex Drones for Maritime Operations and Depths of Up to 6,000 Meters

Quantum Systems has unveiled the Seavex and Subvex naval drones designed for reconnaissance and surveillance, critical infrastructure protection, and counter-drone operations.

The Seavex and Subvex were presented in Portugal during a large-scale NATO maritime exercise, company representatives told Militarnyi.

The Seavex and Subvex are fully integrated into MOSAIC UXS, a system designed to control multiple drones simultaneously.

As a result, the company has created an integrated system capable of operating in the air, on land, and at sea.

“We started in the air, expanded our activity to land, and now we are moving into the sea. But the real step forward is not adding another domain. It is bringing them together,” Florian Seibel, Co-CEO and founder of Quantum Systems, said.

Surface & Underwater

Seavex is a highly autonomous surface drone designed for long-duration reconnaissance and surveillance missions at sea.

The system has an autonomy endurance of up to two months and is equipped with a surveillance radar, a radar for drone detection and countermeasures, and electro-optical sensors with onboard artificial intelligence. Seavex can launch and recover UAVs while docking, recharging, and receiving mission data from the drones.

Subvex is an AI-powered underwater drone designed for autonomous reconnaissance and search missions at depths of up to 6,000 meters.

Equipped with sonar, acoustic sensors, and an onboard data processing system, Subvex can operate for up to four days while actively moving and support distributed operations involving multiple vehicles.

The drone can also remain on the seabed in passive surveillance mode, providing continuous underwater monitoring for several weeks.

Together, the two systems extend reconnaissance capabilities from the surface to deep-sea areas and can support tasks such as protecting critical maritime infrastructure, maritime border security, anti-submarine surveillance, and open-sea monitoring.

Integrating Seavex and Subvex into MOSAIC UXS enables data from sensors across different systems and domains to be combined in a single operational environment.
