A unit of a Separate Presidential Brigade successfully stopped an assault by Russian troops in the Pokrovsk sector.

The brigade’s press service posted a video capturing the destruction of enemy military equipment on Telegram.

The 21st Special Purpose (Guards) Battalion participated in fighting off the assault, interacting with the 46th Airmobile Brigade and the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion.

As the enemy approached the positions of the Ukrainian defenders in a large column, the operators of reconnaissance drones managed to detect the enemy in time and prepare to destroy it.

As they approached the defenders’ positions, strike UAV units launched active raids on enemy equipment.

FPV drones destroyed enemy vehicles trying to approach the positions at high speed.

Despite this, the enemy assault was stopped due to significant losses in armored vehicles, thanks to the military’s successful actions.

It should be noted that the Separate Presidential Brigade actively and steadfastly fights off enemy assaults and inflicts significant losses on the enemy.

Militarnyi previously reported that a unit of the Separate Presidential Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fought off a Russian attack in the Kupyansk sector.

The 4th Mechanized Battalion was involved in repelling the assault, and its aerial reconnaissance detected the advancing enemy in time.

For the offensive, the enemy pointed out two BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles equipped with additional protection against munitions and FPV drones.

The offensive was executed using small groups of infantry to storm the battalion’s positions.
