Polish defense contractor WB Group has presented the Gladius 2, a new jet-powered strike unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with an estimated flight range of approximately 250 km.
The manufacturer presented the system at MSPO 2026, the international defense industry exhibition held in Kielce, Poland.
The Gladius 2 employs a flying-wing airframe configuration designed to reduce its radar cross-section and infrared signature. The UAV has a maximum takeoff mass of approximately 100 kg.
The Gladius 2 carries a modular warhead weighing about 30 kg. Available warhead options include the HEDP multipurpose warhead and the TB thermobaric warhead.
A Polish-made turbojet engine powers the UAV. Its stated flight range is approximately 250 km, with an endurance of more than one hour. It operates at 500-1,500 m above ground level, with a maximum altitude of 5,000 m above sea level. The cruise speed exceeds 150 km/h.
The aircraft can be launched from a transport-launch container or a mobile launcher vehicle. It can reach combat-ready status in no more than five minutes. The Gladius 2 is integrated into the Gladius reconnaissance-strike system.
According to Defence24, the Polish Armed Forces have already ordered the Gladius 2 system, and low-rate initial production is underway.
