The Polish arms group PGZ (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa) proposes the production of Ukrainian weaponry in Poland.
Jan Grabowski, Management Board Member of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A., stated this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
He emphasized that the company held the Ukrainian defense industry in very high regard and was eager to cooperate with and support Ukraine and its defense sector.
According to Grabowski, PGZ has already held discussions with both the Ministry of Defense and the industry regarding the potential for cooperation.
He emphasized that, taking into account the European SAFE funding mechanisms, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa is “ready to cooperate in various forms to manufacture Ukrainian products in Poland, in a safe location, under secure conditions, so that we can jointly share defense technologies.”
“We are primarily talking about cooperation with Ukraine in the field of drone technologies. This includes not only unmanned aerial vehicles but also water drones, and so on. We know that missile technologies are also strong in Ukraine, and that is something we want to discuss with the Ukrainian side,” he said.
Meanwhile, Grabowski added that Poland also had many technologies, and PGZ was open to cooperation with Ukrainian manufacturers.
