The Air Force Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that the enemy had significantly reduced its presence in the Ukrainian sky.

Therefore, the air defense shot down only three helicopters of the Russian occupation forces on Saturday.

“Currently, the Air Force is successfully beating the occupiers with weapons of the 80’s, and the rashists are using against us the latest weapons – hypersonic missiles and aircraft, which significantly outweigh ours, both in number and in combat characteristics,” – said in a statement of the Air Force.

In particular, it was reported that the 128th Separate Mountain Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Ka-52 combat helicopter in the combat zone.

According to the press service of the brigade, the soldier of the anti-aircraft missile unit fired from an anti-aircraft missile system at an enemy helicopter, which was at a maximum range of several kilometers.

The missile hit the helicopter, damaging it, after which the Ka-52 fell to the ground.

According to the 128th Separate Mountain Brigade, the helicopter crew died.

Ka-52 is a Russian combat helicopter. The aircraft is capable of hitting armored and unarmored vehicles, manpower and air targets on the battlefield. The crew consists of two pilots.
