The OSCE has released photos from Donbas showing concentrations of multiple launch rocket systems, including the Russian modification of “Grad-K”, reports Militarnyi.

The images were taken by the Mission’s unmanned aerial vehicle on November 5, 2021.

In November 2021, an OSCE drone identified 13 multiple launch rocket systems near the villiage of Ternove.

Two BM-21 Grad-K MLRS were tracked among these artillery units of Russian occupation forces.

Previously, the OSCE published a table of weapons located in violation of the demarcation line in its report No. 256/2021 dated November 5, 2021 that listed these MLRS.

Ternove is a village in Shakhtar rayon, Donetsk region of Ukraine. Following the Russian military aggression, the village is under occupation. Not far from this Ukrainian village, the occupation forces built a military exercise range.

Grad-K

BM-21 Grad-K is a 122 mm multiple launch rocket system mounted on KamAZ-5350 vehicle operated by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Upgrade of 2B5 artillery system was performed by Russian company OJSC Motovilikhinskie Zavody in which KamAZ-5350 vehicle was used instead of Ural-375D.

The 2B26 was first officially demonstrated in Perm on September 23, 2011.

Russian occupation forces have been using upgraded rocket multiple launch rocket systems in Donbas against Ukraine since 2015. For example Russian occupation forces fired MLRS mounted on KAMAZ-5350 at Ukrainian Army positions from an urban area in 2015.

The Russian-backed combatants also published photos of the BM-21 mounted on KamAZ-5350 taken during their military exercises.
